From Milking Barn to Style Boutique

Over 30 years ago, as Fearrington’s Village Center was emerging from the structures of this former farm, proprietor Jenny Fitch renovated the former milking barn and opened Dovecote Style in this unique space. The store has since morphed into the one-of-a-kind shopping destination. In addition to our signature items carried throughout the year, our seasonal Trunk Shows and Pop-Up Shops further enhance our shopping experience with even more extraordinary finds.

Meet Our Team

Daneen Eaton, Merchandising Manager

Upon graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1977, Daneen worked for Fitch Creations for 6 years, soon after Fearrington began. Among her contributions: identifying the Belted Galloway cows that subsequently became our unofficial mascots, and beautifully illustrating Jenny Fitch’s Fearrington House Cookbook. Marta Knezevic, Floor Manager & Stylist

Originally from Poland, Marta is a fashionista inside and out! Her style is fresh and exuberant, combined with a sense of worldly flair. Her previous experience includes personal shopping services in Darien, Conneticut. Her extraordinary eye for detail combined with her fun and engaging personality make for a unique shopping experience at Dovecote.
