Summer Beers at the Belted Goat
As Spring comes to an end, these beers should keep you cool and content. I just hope you can find some shade!
Mother Earth ‘Park Day’ Pilsner: A traditional Pilsner style brewed the traditional way: only German malt and hops. Our lightest beer on tap, you’ll find notes of citrus and flowers, this crisp beer is best enjoyed on a humid, muggy day to help cool down.
Fearrington-Fullsteam Summer ITA: Our Fullsteam Summer collaboration is a twist on an IPA infused with tea. The early grey tea used (locally known as Governor Grey) comes from the Charleston Tea Plantation in South Carolina. A touch of lemon peel is added to the finished product to really evoke the feeling of a true Southern iced tea. A seasonal favorite across the Triangle, come get it while it’s still here!
Tarboro ‘Town Common’ Ale: Tarboro has one of the two remaining original town commons in the US. They have named this accessible beer as such to reflect how the Town Common is currently used — every day for every occasion. Light malt, caramel and molasses, and a touch of pine, this ale is meant to be enjoyed with, or without, food; however, one of our burgers would certainly help wash it down.
Four Saints ‘Upper Road’ Irish Ale: This beer pays homage to the original Scotch and Irish settlers in Randolph County. An Irish Red Ale exhibits maltier flavors, lighter hop influence, richer toffee tones, and a dry finish. Pair this with our fried fish, roast beef sandwich, or our heartier specialty quiches with goat cheese and bacon.
Swing by the Belted Goat to savor these NC products on tap and kick back & relax.
