We were excited to chat with Margo Petitti before her trunk show at Dovecote on Friday, October 27th and Saturday, October 28th. Here is what she shared with us about her collection!

What three words best describe your line?
Colorful, Dapper, Classic

What has been your inspiration this season?
I am mostly inspired by textiles and the new fall colors.

What is your favorite piece from your collection and why?
The patchwork because they are one-of-a-kind scarves and I really enjoy designing them.

How do you view your personal style?
I am really inspired by menswear and incorporate it into my everyday wardrobe. My go to is a light blue, non-iron Brooks Brothers shirt.

Do you have recommendations on styling items from your collection?
I think that styling of our products is very personal yet versatile. We often have two different customers that buy the same scarf for totally different looks. One may choose to pair it with their down jacket while another pairs the scarf with a top coat.

If you could provide one piece of fashion advice, what would it be?
Don’t underestimate the power of an accessory. Style is in the details and it’s the small things that elevate any look
