Pazuki Party!
Pookie Blezard, creative director of Pazuki, hails originally from Southwest London. Growing up with musician parents, her love of art and fashion started early and only continued to grow, as evidenced by her gorgeous collection.
Based on her own oil paintings, the summer collection features everything from lilypads to dragonflies. It’s evocative of the season and perfect for hosting a soiree. We love the idea of one of her blouse-y tops with a pair of skinny jeans and leather sandals for a backyard barbecue, or one of her maxi dresses, knockout jewels, and velvet sandals for a more sophisticated cocktail affair (pro tip: stop by Nest next door for all your cocktail needs–the Jack Rudy bourbon cherries are a revelation!)
We love these pieces and her beliefs; while painting, she let go of “mistakes,” and deemed imperfect “the new perfect.” The more individual, the better!
“Black is so joyless,” Blezard laments, and we’re starting to agree. While it certainly has its place, summer isn’t it! Time to break out the color and print and bring joy to the season! Stop by to peruse the collection next time you’re in the shop; our stylists will be thrilled to point out all their favorites.
