Meet Paul, Jo & T.K.

Paul, Jo & T.K. Bolig have been Fearrington residents since 2011. We asked them what they loved most about living at Fearrington – here’s what they shared about their experience.

What persuaded you to move to Fearrington?
Having spent our professional lives in the Washington, DC area, the slower pace and bucolic setting of Fearrington Village appealed to us. Like Washington, the Triangle area offers many cultural opportunities to be enjoyed.

What about the Weathersfield neighborhood appealed to you when deciding between Fearrington’s neighborhoods?
We found a lovely home in the Weathersfield area and were warmly welcomed by our neighbors. We quickly learned of volunteer activities in the area that we were keen to become involved with. Our “close” in Weathersfield is woodsy and quiet and the perfect setting for bird and squirrel watching.

What do you love most about Fearrington?
We love having the Village close by. The Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays offers tantalizing, locally-sourced items for much of the year. As avid readers, we’re enchanted by McIntyre’s, the best independent bookstore in the country.

What is one of your fond memories of living at Fearrington?
One of our fondest memories, and an experience we’ll enjoy year after year, is the Fearrington Folk Art Show held in The Barn each year.
