Fearrington Living, Living
Making Delicious Community – Virtually
Early every December, Women of Fearrington hosts its “Holiday Bakery and Market” sale to support Chatham County nonprofits. This group is the third largest grant provider in the county after the County Board and United Way giving over $30,000 each year.
Donna and her husband Paul moved here from MN in 2004. Grants programs supporting women and children of Chatham County are particularly near and dear to Donna’s heart. She has been baking breads, bagels and sticky buns for this market for years now. She is pictured here with special Chocolate and Nutella Babkas. Though held virtually this year, her baked goods and many other desserts will be no less scrumptious! See what the Women of Fearrington are cooking up this year. Yum!
Fearrington’s residents are a huge part of what makes Fearrington special. With diverse backgrounds, experiences and interests, there are a wealth of opportunities for newcomers to make friendships. Dozens of resident clubs, volunteer opportunities and local events mean shared interests are not hard to come by. Many clubs and activities meet at The Gathering Place, where the Fearrington Homeowners Association is located and where speakers often visit.
