This Saturday is, as proclaimed by Governor Roy Cooper, Independent Bookstore Day in North Carolina. Show us some love and show off your independence by visiting your local bookstore. Coming up soon, our literary luncheon with Paula McLain, author of The Paris Wife and Circling the Sun. Her newest novel, Love and Ruin, revisits the life of stand out journalist Martha Gellhorn (and Hemingway wife #3). We will be participating in Children’s Book Week this year and have some special story times and of course – May the 4th Be With You Star Wars Celebration.
