The fine print: Orders can be placed online only. A change to pickups: The Belted Goat’s hours of operation are changing and with that the time and location for pickups. Please pull up to the SIDE DOOR OF THE BARN BETWEEN 12:00pm and 2:00pm. There will be staff there to take your name and bring your box out to you. Sorry folks, no substitutions to the menu.
A note about the ordering process: Takeout for Two is something we created as an answer to the times in which we are living. Yes, it’s takeout, but it’s also a weekly event albeit in a different form from the traditional dinners and wine classes that we would normally host at Fearrington. Since it’s only available for pickup one day a week, we decided to set it up as an event, with tickets and everything. Thus the “register for event” approach to purchase. It feels a little strange, but so does everything right now! If you are looking for our regular, wonderful, everyday carryout that we offer at the Belted Goat and also at the Fearrington House, visit their pages for links and menus.
