‘O Zapft is! In Bavarian German, this means “[the keg] has been tapped” and to commence the Oktoberfest party. The Munich Oktoberfest was paused during COVID, and this was the only time it had been cancelled since WWII, but they’re back up and celebrating this year from September 17 to October 3. A much more casual endeavor than in years past, Fearrington will be celebrating in our own way at Roost: Oktoberfest-style beers in can & bottle, and Chef Chad will have brats available. [There will still be draft beer and wood-fired pizza available in addition to these festive treats.]
No tickets for this, so come as you are or dust off your lederhosen and make an impression! Grab a table under the oaks and enjoy a casual dinner. As always, we highly suggest preordering your pizza online HERE. Can’t make it tonight? We’ll be celebrating on both Thursday and Saturday!
This evening at Roost: Mark Holland will be playing from 5-7pm.
