Please come out and join us for a poetry reading with three talented local authors: Joan Barasovska, Tony Reevy, and Maria Rouphail.
Joan Barasovska lives in Orange County, North Carolina. She cohosted a poetry series at Flyleaf Books and serves on the Board of the North Carolina Poetry Society. Her books are Birthing Age, Carrying Clare, and Orange Tulips. In 2020 Joan was nominated for Best of the Net and a Pushcart Prize. In 2023 she will host McIntyre’s Books’ poetry series.
Tony Reevy’s previous publications include poetry, non-fiction and short fiction, including the non-fiction books Ghost Train!; O. Winston Link: Life Along the Line; The Railroad Photography of Jack Delano; The Railroad Photography of Lucius Beebe and Charles Clegg; and the full books of poetry, Old North, Passage, Socorro, and Turbulence. He resides in Durham, North Carolina.
Maria Rouphail, PhD, is Senior Lecturer Emerita from North Carolina State University. She is Poetry Editor of Main Street Rag. Maria has published three collections of poetry: Apertures; Second Skin; and All the Way to China, a 2020 finalist in both the University of Wisconsin Brittingham Poetry and the Blue Light Press competitions. She lives in Raleigh.
