The first part in another set of comparative classes brought to you by the Fearrington Wine Team! How does a particular wine classically taste like when vinified in Old World versus New World countries? This class will differentiate how a country’s geography, climate, and winemaking styles contribute to the final product.
Part one will feature red wines made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, a blend most closely associated with the Rhône Valley (France) and Barossa Valley (Australia).
In-person tickets are $95 each. Online tickets are $80.
In-person tickets include six wines and a food pairing dish. Online tickets will only include wines.
