National Independent Bookstore Day!

May 2, 2015   |   10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Following the runaway success of last year’s California Bookstore Day, bookstores across the nation are now preparing for Independent Bookstore Day, a country-wide celebration of books and independent bookstores on May 2nd. From Bend to Brooklyn, book lovers should mark their calendars for this special day of literary parties.

McIntyre’s Books will be celebrating all day!

Allan Gurganus will read from and sign copies of Decoy: A Novella.

Author Event with Margaret Bradham Thornton
4 p.m.
Margaret Bradham Thornton will sign copies of Charleston: A Novel and talk about how her work with Tennessee Williams’s Notebooks and her restoration of a 19th century garden led her to write the novel Charleston.

At the conclusion of her reading, we will pop some corks and pour prosecco with live blues played by Mr. Billy.
