Billecart-Salmon Champagnes
“Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right.” —F. Scott Fitzgerald
Who doesn’t enjoy a glass of Champagne? Whether it’s to commemorate an occasion, paired with Chef Bedford’s first bites or as a way to finish off an evening there is always a time and place. Raise your glasses with us at Fearrington as we are now serving Billecart-Salmon Champagne for your pleasure.
Billecart-Salmon is a house that was founded on the marriage of Elisabeth Salmon & François Billecart in the early part of the 19th century and still to this day is family-owned and operated. Winning considerable titles throughout the year they are a winery that has always been consistent to an elegant, fresh and bright style.
Currently we are offering two options by the glass: Brut Réserve & Brut Rosé.
Brut Réserve: Fuller-bodied texture with notes of Asian pear, tropical fruit tones and brioche. The brut from Billecart-Salmon is perfect accompanied by a cheese plate at the bar or
Brut Rosé: Likened to have characteristics of still Rosé this wine will be driven by the wild strawberry, raspberry, white cherry and a silky mousse. This wine is a great option if you’re looking for something dry to go with our current Foie Gras dish.
