Programs can be customized to suit your group’s specific needs and may be held in a variety of spots in the village depending on your preferences and group size. Ready Steady Cook

The Ready Steady Cook Challenge is our signature culinary team-building activity. Each team is challenged to create a meal using limited resources and a secret ingredient within a specified time limit. The Fearrington House chefs judge the teams on creativity, use of ingredients, presentation, taste, and of course, team work!

Yoga in the Gardens

It is no secret that yoga is a total mind-body workout, combining strength and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation. Start or end your day with a private yoga session. It is a great way to get your team energized to stay focused in the meeting room. The one-hour yoga class can be modified for all levels and a rain plan is available.

Culinary Class

A Chef will do a cooking demonstration to teach your group how to make an entrée. The group will then be divided into teams and challenged to recreate their own version of what they just learned. Your group is sure to walk away with a few new cooking tips-and-tricks sure to impress any crowd.

Wine Experience

Enjoy a personalized wine class. Choose a wine seminar on either Burgundy & Bordeaux, New World Wines or Sparkling Wine & Champagne — a few of the most classic, yet exciting, wine regions of the world. Each class will feature six wines with an in-depth discussion on what makes these varieties unique. After learning and tasting the wines, the class will be divided into small groups. Groups will list dishes they think would pair best with the wines. The group with the best pairing suggestions wins a prize!
