Bordeaux will play host region for the wine of this week, with an interesting Bordeaux Blanc shaking things up! Normally, most people associate Bordeaux with dusty old bottles of red wine you need to be excessively wealthy to get your hands on, but wine from this very storied region comes in all forms! Expensive, inexpensive, still, sparkling, red, white, rose, sweet, or dry, can be found here. We will keep things simple enough, with just a still red and a white to whet your appetite!
Lots of technology involved with this production, with measures like “parcel selection” vinification put in place by Lionel Latorse to ensure no compromise in quality. Result? Steely, bright citrus with a saline minerality on the finish! $11Retail
