The Fearrington Farmers

When you stop by the farm to visit our animals you may be lucky enough to meet our Farmers doing their rounds.  Our precious animals are taken care of by Robert Flynn and Bob Strowd - both long time employees at Fearrington Village.

Robert Flynn, our Real Estate Construction Project Manager, has worked with our Belties since they were introduced to the Fearrington pastures over 25 years ago. He is now responsible for overseeing the purchasing,  selling and exhibiting of our Belted Galloway Cows.

Bob Strowd, Farm Manager, is responsible for the daily care of the cattle, goats and donkeys at Fearrington Village.   His farm tasks include feeding livestock, the breeding program, healthcare (anything from birthing the calves to vet visits), and preparing the cattle for showing.  Bob also prepares the cattle for their involvement with the Corporate Team Building activities (grooming cows is one of the challenging tasks!)
