Jamie Fiocco, Manager
Jamie comes to McIntyre’s with fifteen years’ experience working with book publishers in both domestic US and international sales. An avid reader from an early age, Jamie remembers as a youngster having her flashlight taken away at bedtime so she couldn’t read the next Dr. Seuss book under the covers.

Pete Mock, Buyer & Mystery Man
Pete calls them as he reads them. In his nine years at McIntyre’s he has developed quite a reputation for recommending lesser-known mystery authors and often-missed authors from other genres. He’s never short on opinions but will to back up what he has to say; customers come in regularly to check on what he’s reading and make plans accordingly!

Beth Kalb, Children’s Book Buyer
Beth, an art history major in college and a former nanny, delights in keeping up on the latest Young Adult and Children’s books. She’s a big fan of adult fiction as well and tends to read books as they apply to her self-chosen themes. She’s now passed through her circus theme and is on to books about twins…

Hayes Simpson, Bookseller
Hayes is relatively new to the bookselling team, but not new to Fearrington having served as a hostess at the Market Cafe (now The Old Granary Restaurant). A journalism major, she’s an avid reader with a big interest in both Southern American and Latin American literature.

Land Arnold - Bookseller
Land joined the McIntyre's team in the Fall of 2007, though he has been a bookseller since 2003. Although he majored in Classics at UNC Greensboro, he mostly reads New Fiction with unreliable narrators and dysfunctional characters. Land is also rarely ashamed to admit that he reads poetry.
