The Evening Out Dinner Series!
Throughout the year, The Old Granary hosts a series of Evening Out Dinners highlighting the freshest local produce and seasonal flavors. These special dinners, occurring the last Wednesday of each month, feature delightful three-course menus created by Fearrington Executive Chef Colin Bedford for just $30 per guest, or $45 with wine pairings selected by Wine Director Maximilian Kast. Call (919) 542-2121 for reservations. Upcoming 2010 Evening Out Dinner Dates: January 27th, February 24th, March 31st, April 28th, May 26th and June 30th.
 
Outdoor Dining
The bricked Terrace at The Old Granary is surrounded by Southern flowers and herbs - an idyllic setting for enjoying lunch with family and friends!  The picnic benches on the Old Granary Green are great for families to enjoy a light lunch and the kids will love playing in the grass. The Old Granary frequently tops the OpenTable Diners' Choice list for best outdoor dining spot!

The Old Granary offers your choice of any of our menus from a gourmet seated dinner, festive outdoor barbeque, or an elegant hors d'oeuvres reception.  Breathtaking views of the gardens and belted cows add to the romance of this unique venue.

The Old Granary Gallery
We are delighted to announce the opening of the newly-renovated Old Granary Gallery. Located on the lower level of the restaurant, The Gallery will feature rotating exhibits from extraordin
ary regional artists. We invite you to stroll through at any time and enjoy their fantastic work. Pieces featured in The Gallery are available for sale and may be taken at the end of each 3-month show.

 

Chef Colin Bedford
A native of England, Colin came to the The Fearrington House in 2005 as Executive Sous Chef. Colin's culinary interest began at an early age, later taking him to The Castle Hotel, Niagara on The Lake, and the Prince of Wales Hotel. Now Executive Chef, Colin continues the Fearrington House's commitment to "Farm-to-Table" cuisine, maintaining partnerships with local farmers, and utilizing some of the finest produce and ingredients in the region and in the gardens at Fearrington. Colin also oversees culinary operations at both The Old Granary Restaurant and The Belted Goat.
