THE RESTAURANT
A full-service restaurant, the Old Granary is the perfect spot
to sit and enjoy an elegant southern lunch or brunch. The
Southern menus feature an extensive selection of hand-made salads,
sandwiches, entrees and desserts. This vibrant restaurant, decorated
with warm colors and rich fabrics, provides
seating on various levels with views of the charming village shops, surrounding gardens,
and the rolling pastures filled with
Belted Galloway Cows and Tennessee Fainting Goats.

An Evening Out: Dinners at The Old Granary
The Old Granary presents a series of
Evening Out Dinners, occurring once each month and offering creative three course menus created by Chef Stephen Amos
for just $30 per person (excluding tax and gratuity.)
For an additional $15, each guest's dinner may be paired with wines
carefully selected by Fearrington Wine Director Maximilian Kast.
These special dinner events will feature menus highlighting the freshest
available ingredients of the season. Upcoming dinners are planned
for March 25th, April 22nd,
May 27th, June 24th, July 22nd, and August 26th.

The bricked Terrace at The Old Granary is surrounded by Southern
flowers and herbs - an idyllic setting for enjoying lunch with
family and friends! The picnic benches on the Old Granary
Green are great for families to enjoy a light lunch and the kids
will love playing in the grass.

Fearrington Farm. The Old Granary Restaurant & Bar provides a
wonderful, eclectic venue for dining, dancing and celebrating
southern weddings and rehearsal dinners.
The Old Granary offers your choice of any of our menus from a gourmet
seated dinner, festive outdoor barbeque, or an elegant hors
d'oeuvres reception. Breathtaking views of the gardens and belted cows
add to the romance of this unique venue.
Large groups are offered exclusive use
of The Old Granary allowing you to take advantage of the many options
including the trellised patio, large

The Old Granary Chef - Stephen Amos
Chef Stephen Amos was born and raised in Westport, Connecticut.
He worked in the Fearrington House kitchen from December 2005 before
joining The Old Granary at Fearrington in the summer of 2006.
Stephen received a Bachelors Degree in the Arts from Elon
University, NC before attending the New England Culinary Institute
in Montpelier, VT where he earned an associates Degree in the
Culinary Arts. His kitchen experience includes working
at Danny Meyer's Eleven Madison Park in Manhattan, NY.

The Old Granary Restaurant Manager - Lynne Gardner
Lynn
is a native of Moore Country, North Carolina. She graduated from
Sandhills Community College with a major in Business, and worked in
the hospitality trade and antique business before joining
Fearrington and The Old Granary Restaurant.

Introducing
The Old Granary Gallery!
We are delighted to announce the opening of the newly-renovated Old
Granary Gallery. Located on the lower level of the restaurant, The
Gallery will feature rotating exhibits from extraordinary regional
artists. We invite you to stroll through at any time and enjoy their
fantastic work. Pieces featured in The Gallery are available for
sale and may be taken at the end of each 3-month show.
Featured Artist: Beth Goldston
Beth Goldston of Pittsboro is the first artist to lend her talents
to The Gallery. Goldston’s stunning paintings - created in oil,
watercolor and pastel - depict beautiful and familiar landscapes.
She has shown her work in galleries and exhibits all over the East
Coast, and has received numerous awards. Her showing will continue
through September 18th. |
