McIntyre’s Books is an independent bookstore in Fearrington Village near Chapel Hill, NC with a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction, with a particular emphasis on cooking, gardening, mystery and books by local authors.

Since Keebe Fitch opened McIntyre’s Books in 1989, we’ve hosted one of the largest author events programs in the South. Come out for an event or for a book recommendation from our experienced staff.
