McIntyre’s Books is an independent bookstore in Fearrington Village near Chapel Hill, NC with one of the friendliest, most experienced staffs around. Surrounded by gardens in bloom, pastures containing our curious Belties, the shops and restaurants of the Village Center – and parking right in front – McIntyre’s Books offers a singularly pleasant book buying experience.
Enjoy a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction, with particular emphasis on cooking, gardening, mystery and books by local authors.
Since Keebe Fitch opened McIntyre’s Books in 1989, we’ve been hosting one of the largest author events programs in the South.
You’ll find us on the left as you enter the Village Center. We’re right next to The Fearrington Granary Restaurant offering lunch, brunch and dinner and the shops and spa of the Village Center so come make it a day!
