I am so glad that John Oliver is part of our team!
Actually, Reverend Dr. John Oliver is officially the Chief of Chaplains at the VA Medical Center in Durham, but we often get to borrow him on weekends! We have been extremely lucky to have him perform many weddings here over the years.
I have never recommended John to a couple who did not love working with him. You can tell by the smiles on Zara and Robert’s faces during their rehearsal that they have found the right person to marry them.
In addition to doing the important job of making couples feel comfortable and well cared for with their ceremonies and the planning leading up to them, John is a man of many other talents. He speaks fluent Spanish, sings beautifully, always has an eye out for anyone who may need a bit of extra care, and is never afraid to jump in and help us when we need a hand. One particularly rainy Saturday this summer, John helped me move flowers through a flood to guarantee that a bride’s ceremony site would be the beautiful site that she had dreamed of, only indoors!
Yes, he’s definitely part of our team and that’s a good thing. Many thanks to John!
I would like information for a wedding and reception at your establishment.
