Theresa Chiettini, General Manager, Village Center
Raised in a family of hoteliers, Theresa learned the intricacies of managing luxury hotels in both Europe and the Caribbean from a very early age. After earning a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida, Theresa spent several years at properties in the US and Europe including the prestigious Rafael Hotel in Munich. Theresa has been with The Fearrington House since 2000.
Soledad Bardas, Rooms & Guest Services Manager
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Soledad joined Fearrington in 2007. Soledad studied Culinary Arts at Argentina’s Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia before receiving a degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management at Argentina’s CENCAP College. Before coming to The Fearrington House, Soledad served as the personal assistant to the owner of one of Argentina’s largest advertising companies, Sarmiento Advertising Group.
Rosie Chiettini, Reservations
Born on the island of St. Maarten where her father managed La Samanna resort, Rosie grew up in the hotel industry. Her family later moved to Austria, where she graduated high school in Schoenberg and college in Krems. After working at the famed Hotel Sacher in Salzburg for several years, Rosie joined Fearrington in 2000 at the front desk. She now coordinates all reservations for the inn.
Juan David Cure, Travel Industry Sales
Juan David came to Fearrington in 2006 to work in The Fearrington House Restaurant, and joined the Corporate Events team in 2008. A native of Colombia, Juan David came to the United States in 2000 to continue his studies at the University of Massachusetts in Boston after attending Social Communications and Journalism School in Colombia.
Samantha Whitaker, Corporate Event Sales
Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, Samantha joined the Fearrington House team in 2007 after earning a degree in Psychology from James Madison University. Samantha worked in Inn Reception before moving into Corporate Sales in 2008.
Carlos Moreno, Catering Manager
Carlos began his career in hospitality in his native Puerto Rico at fellow Relais & Chateaux property, The Horned Dorset Primavera. He moved stateside in 2005 and spent two years at The Inn at Little Washington and The Lake Placid Lodge. He joined The Fearrington House Restaurant in 2007, where he worked as a waiter. Carlos was promoted to Catering Manager in 2011.
