The North Carolina Museum of Arts is featuring some of the most exclusive Porsches in the world until January 20th, 2014. Porsche by Design has on display a private collection of 22 automobiles that take visitors throughout the concept and designs based on the lifetime work and fundamental ideas of the founder Professor Ing. Ferdinand Porsche. The House of Porsche was born in the early 1930’s and since its early beginnings the company principles and values have made of Porsche one the greatest and most credible brands of all times.
As stated by the company itself, nobody can describe Porsche’s principle better than Ferdinand Porsche: “In the beginning I looked around and I could not find the car I dreamed of: a small, lightweight car that uses energy efficiently. So I decided to build it myself.”
Professor Porsche’s strong ideals and philosophy have remained untouched until this very day. An inspirational spark of motivation and dedication that has made The House of Porsche earn the title of: The most successful brand in motorsport and the most prestigious automobile brand by the Luxury Institute in New York.
Porsche by Design Exhibition presents a collection of some of the most rare and unique automobiles from private collectors. Cars owned by Ralph Lauren, Steve McQueen and Janis Joplin. Not to mention the Panamericana concept car on loan from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.
This is a one of a kind event in North Carolina and well worth attending. If your travels bring you to the area don’t forget to make a pit stop at The North Carolina Museum of Arts and see the Porsche by Design Exhibit.
