At Fearrington, we have a distinct four-season climate. January and February are winter; March through June, spring; July and August, summer; September through December, fall. Outdoor sports, such as tennis and golf, can be played almost every day of the year. Spring arrives here about a month earlier than in the northern US.

Our snowfalls are more a cause for celebration than a nuisance. With typically just a few light snowfalls each winter, mother nature usually melts all traces the next day.
