Meet the individuals
behind Fitch Creations, Inc., the family company that created
Fearrington Village. Fitch Creations continues to own and run
the businesses in the Village Center, such as the restaurants, inn,
spa and shops, and continues to build custom homes for customers
moving from over 40 states to Fearrington. |

R.B.
Fitch - Developer
R.B. and his late wife, Jenny, purchased the Fearrington dairy
farm in 1974 and started the converting the farm and surrounding
land into a country village. The original farm house and
outbuildings now house the shops and restaurants of the village
center, while over 1200 families have homes nestled in the
surrounding woodlands and fields. Learn more

Greg
Fitch - Vice President
After working in various roles at Fearrington in
high school, Greg Fitch rejoined the family business in 2006. For
the three previous years, Greg constructed vacation houses on Long
Island’s East End. Prior to that, he worked in New York, most
recently for Random House, Inc., managing several corporate
departments. After graduating from Georgetown
University, Greg served as a staff assistant in the White House
under President George H.W. Bush, and then earned an MBA from the
Northwestern University. |

Keebe
Fitch - Public Relations
Keebe has been a part of the family business since the early
1980's. In addition to earning a B.A. in History from UNC, she also
recently received an MBA from Kenan Flagler's Business School.
In 1989, Keebe opened McIntyre's Books,
and continues to manage the store. Her involvement in the company
has grown to include public relations and Secretary Treasurer.

Sarah Matista - Marketing
Coordinator
Sarah joined the marketing department at Fearrington Village
in 2005 after earning a B.A. in Journalism and Graphic Design
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She became
Marketing Coordinator in 2008, overseeing the website, Fearrington's
Facebook page, and promoting
the village's shops, country inn and restaurant, and residential
real estate offerings. |

Bobbie Gautney -
Accounting Manager
Bobbie joined Fearrington in May of 1999 as a Job Cost
Accountant and was promoted to Accounting Manager for all
Fearrington businesses in 2001. Bobbie oversees all aspects of the
accounting for Fitch Creations including preparation of financial
statements, insurance procurement, and 401k Administration. |

Samantha Robinson - Human Resources and Benefits Manager
Samantha joined our Accounts Receivable department in 2003 and
was promoted to Human Resources and Benefits Manager in 2005. She
earned her B.S. in Business Administration from NC Wesleyan College in
May 2007. Samantha is a member of the Society for Human Resource
Management and is also an active member of the local Triangle
Chapter.

Daneen Griffin - Merchandising Manager
Upon graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1977 with a B.A. in Business
Administration, Daneen worked for Fitch Creations for 6 years, soon
after Fearrington began. Among her enduring contributions:
identifying the Belted Galloway cows that subsequently became our
unofficial mascots while on a visit through New England, and
illustrating Jenny Fitch’s Fearrington House Cookbook. In 1983,
Daneen relocated to Charlotte to become marketing director of
Merrill Lynch’s real estate operations in the Southeast. In 2007,
she returned to the company and oversees merchandising and
visual displays for our shops. Daneen also contributes to our Village blog,
CHATTER. |
