Established in 2000, Fearrington Cares was created to provide Fearrington residents with information and support services to help them optimize their healthcare and successfully navigate the healthcare system. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt service organization started by and under the continuing direction of Fearrington Village volunteers.


In addition to free community healthcare, various seminars and activities are available throughout the year. The services and advice available from the organization are free to all Fearrington residents. Previously located among the shops of the village center, the organization now has a brand new facility behind The Gathering Place. There are many opportunities to participate in Fearrington Cares, whether it is through donations or directly by volunteering.
