For many couples, nothing could be more romantic than a wedding ceremony during the winter months. While Fearrington is best known for elegant garden weddings during the warmer seasons, winter also offers an incomparable setting in which to exchange vows.

While the leaves are off the towering oak trees surrounding The Fearrington House, our location in the heart of North Carolina means our gardens are interesting and active during your winter wedding. Our gardeners and floral designers also extensively decorate the Village Center for the holidays, so depending on the timing of your special day, this setting offers your guests further seasonal cheer!

Fearrington offers several climate controlled venues that take full advantage of our farm setting and stunning gardens. The Garden Terrace, with both central heating and a dramatic wood-burning fireplace, provides an inviting and intimate setting in which to take your vows. The Garden Terrace can accommodate up to 250 guests and is located adjacent to The Fearrington House Restaurant. Please inquire about a special winter rate  at The Garden Terrace from December 1st through March 15th. For smaller ceremonies, the Garden House and Galloways provide additional indoor venue options.  

After their ceremony, couples and their guests enjoy the short walk on winding brick paths to the famous Fearrington Barn or the charming Old Granary Restaurant for a beautiful reception family and friends will not soon forget.
