A nationally accomplished photojournalist working in New York City,
Missy McLamb returned to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1996 to
establish Missy McLamb Photographers (MMP), bringing with her a new
style of wedding photography. People were quickly drawn to her work,
responding to her melding of contemporary style with authentic
tradition. Finding herself increasingly commissioned for Fearrington
Village weddings, in 2007 she relocated the production studio and
gallery to Pittsboro. Missy, the agency photographers she
represents - all leading edge editorial, fashion and fine art
photographers - and a full-time creative team enable MMP to offer
critically-acclaimed wedding photography supported by superior customer
service.

Missy’s signature style is a smooth blend of documentary and fine
art. MMP photographers capture individual moments with both accuracy
and honest emotion. Their unique, artful approach has attracted
many, their images featured in publications such as Martha Stewart
Weddings, The New York Times and The Washington Post. Studio wedding
clients include the children of Stephen King, Mia Farrow, and
Erskine Bowles. In 2007, the studio received a “Best of Weddings”
rating from the editors of The Knot as well as a perfect score of100
by the magazine’s readership.
All levels of Photography Packages from MMP include a choice of
presentation (e.g. traditional wedding album, first edition book,
keepsake box) and online proofing. Video production and graphic
design are also available. MMP are delighted to share portfolios and
