The Fearrington House Restaurant's 2008 Wine Dinner Series
promises an evening of outstanding cuisine, fine wines and exemplary
service. Sommelier Maximilian Kast and guest winemakers will discuss
the history, culture and qualities of the featured wines which will
accompany Executive Chef Graham Fox's seasonal multi-course menus.

Wine Maker Dinner with Michaela Rodeno from St. Supery
Located in Rutherford in Napa Valley, the St. Supery winery
focuses on producing fine Cabernet Sauvignon, white and red Meritage,
Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. Their Cabernet Sauvignon -based Elu
red Meritage, and their Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon-based Virtu
Meritage are consistently the best wines made in these categories in
the United States. Their single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon’s are
treasures showing the unique nature of their individual Napa Valley
terroirs. Michaela Rodano, CEO, will join us for a reception and
tasting dinner.

Beer Maker Dinner with Mark Ruedrich from North Coast Brewery
The North Coast Brewing Company is a pioneer in the craft beer
movement in the United States. Opened in 1988 by Mark Ruedrich, the
brewery has developed a strong reputation for quality, having won 70
national and international competitions. The range of beers produced
at the brewery are great and vast, ranging from their Red Seal Ale
or ACME IPA, to their complex and alluring Old Rasputin Russian
Imperial Stout, Old Stock Ale, Brother Thelonius Belgian Style Abby
Ale, and Le Merle. These are beers that make most wine look like a
secondary beverage. Founder and Brewmaster Mark Ruedrich will join
us for a reception and a tasting dinner. $100 plus tax & gratuity.

Wine Dinner with Cyril & Blakesley Chappellet of Chappellet Winery
The Chappellet family has been crafting world class wines from their
Pritchard Hill estate vineyard since 1967. The Chappellets were the
first winery in the valley to plant exclusively on high elevation
hillsides and the second winery to be established in the Napa Valley
after prohibition. The foundation of the Chappellet wine program is
focused on creating extraordinary age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon from
the Pritchard Hill Vineyards. They also produce outstanding
Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The
Chappellets are passionate about great wine and about preserving the
land using sustainable farming techniques. Blakesley and Cyril
Chappellet will join us for a reception and tasting dinner.

Wine Dinner with David Adelsheim of Adelsheim Winery
David Adelsheim, founder of the Adelsheim Winery, will host this
exceptional wine dinner along with Chef Graham Fox and Somelier
Maximilian Kast. The Adelsheim Winery is located in the Chehalem
district in the Willamette Valley. They produce some of the most
distinct and nuanced Pinot Noirs in the Willamette Valley, as well
as a long list of outstanding white wines and dessert wines. The
Adelsheims are among the pioneers in the Willamette Valley being the
second oldest producer of Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley, and
the third oldest producer of Pinot Gris in the United States.
