Photography Team Building

	Missy McLamb, founder of Missy McLamb Photographers at Fearrington Village, will lead the innovative Photography Team Building Challenges. Missy and her associates combine documentary and fine art imagery with classic portraiture in both black and white and color photographs.
	Photography Team Building Photography Challenge Suitable for groups of 10-30, the Photography activity challenges teams to develop, style and produce a photograph based on a given theme. Teams will have access to Missy McLamb Photographer’s assistant photographers, cameras and photography studios and will be given a theme that they must visually depict. Participants will develop, storyboard, style and finally direct the photographer throughout the shooting of the photograph. Participants will receive technical guidance from professional photographers. The activity includes an instructional session with an overview of concepting, styling and shooting commercial photograph. The Photography Challenge lasts about 3 hours and includes a meal (depending on the time of day a one-course lunch, afternoon Tea, or hors d’oeuvres reception is included), a Fearrington Beltie t-shirt and an 8x10 print of finished print for each team member.
	Film Making Challenge - Lights. Camera. Action. The Lights, Camera, Action activity, perfect for groups of 10-30 persons, challenges teams to develop and produce a short film or commercial under the guidance of Missy McLamb Photographers. This innovative, creative and fulfilling exercise is ideal for corporate groups - encouraging participants to brainstorm, develop and tell a visual story from a new and fresh perspective. The Lights, Camera, Action team building activity includes an overview of making broadcast commercials and key aspects of development, preproduction production and post production. Participants are taught basic filmmaking techniques and camera and lighting skills for this challenge. Each team is assigned a well-equipped professional cinematographer and given approximately 6 hours to complete the filmmaking task. The final short films/commercials are screened during a presentation dinner at the award-winning Fearrington House Restaurant. The Lights, Camera, Action Team Building activity includes the filmmaking challenge, a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception, awards dinner with film/commercial screening, overnight accommodations with full breakfast, crew T-Shirt, and a copy of the film created by each team.
