Fearrington’s Wine Director Maximilian Kast and Fullsteam’s Sean Lilly Wilson have combined talents for a collaboration in the name of beer! The result is a seasonal beer line that use local ingredients to compliment each season right here in central North Carolina.
The Fearrington Summer English IPA was a hit utilizing lemon thyme, bronzed fennel and honey from Fearrington’s gardens. Our fall beer, launched in a special dinner at Fearrington on September 26th (see images from the event above!), the Fearrington Crabapple Berliner Weisse uses crabapples and crabapple cordials made from trees in Fearrington’s backyard. Fearrington’s Winter Beer, a Coffee Pecan Porter, was perfect for the chilly winter. Spring is coming soon, stay tuned to see what the new beer will be!
