5:30 p.m. | The Fearrington Granary
Join Fearrington House Wine Director Maximilian Kast for a tasting and discussion about wines made at high altitude, and the effect that this has on viticulture, winemaking, and ultimately the aromas and taste of the wines. We will taste wines from the Savoie, Switzerland, Argentina, the Valle d’Aosta in Italy, and Sicily (and you thought you were done with Island wine after last month). This will be a class not to miss, with some wines that might become new favorites. The class will include a cheese plate. 45.00 including tax and gratuity.
Why get away when everyone else does? Enjoy the Inn’s award-winning service and cuisine and stunning gardens, Mon-Thurs. Includes overnight stay, afternoon tea and full breakfast, and a $50 credit per person for dinner at The Fearrington Granary. Starts at $375.
