Village Calendar

We are delighted to help Chatham County’s Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services with a fundraiser featuring Timothy Tyson and The Southern Scribbling Class. Starting in January, Once a month for five months, Tim will be chatting here at McIntyre”s with local literati Alan Gurganus, Jill McCorkle, Lee Smith, and Randall Kenan about their novels and whatever else strikes their fancy (yes, that’s only four authors, but one month will be devoted to Tim and his book Blood Done Sign My Name). Tickets are $20 per event or $100 for the series. All ticket sales as well as 20% of the sales of the featured book will benefit the FVRC.
