5 p.m. | The Fearrington Granary
Join Fearrington House Wine Director Maximilian Kast and Goat Lady Dairy Cheesemonger Alexander Kast for a tasting of fine cheese and refreshing Loire Valley Wines. Why Loire Valley wines you ask? Because in our humble opinion the wines of the Loire Valley are some of the most natural pairings for Goat Milk Cheeses. Alexander will be aging some special cheeses for the class, one’s that are not to be missed. Since the Loire river is such a long river (the longest in France), and has such a diverse amount of grape varieties, we will have a wide variety to choose from to enjoy with the Goat Lady Dairy cheese. Sancerre and a Crotin Style cheese in July, can life get better than that? Please join us for an engaging and information filled class. 60 per person including Gratuity and Tax.
Why get away when everyone else does? Enjoy the Inn’s award-winning service and cuisine and stunning gardens, Mon-Thurs. Includes overnight stay, afternoon tea and full breakfast, and a $50 credit per person for dinner at The Fearrington Granary. Starts at $375.
