David Treadway Manning, a Pushcart nominee, is a three-time-winner of the North Carolina Poetry Society’s Poet Laureate award. He is published in a number of journals and has nine chapbooks, most recently, The Girl Who Came Out with the Stars and Genes. He has two full-length collections; The Flower Sermon and the unserious Yodeling Fungus. Dave and his wife Doris live in Cary, NC.
Maureen Sherbondy’s books are After the Fairy Tale, Praying at Coffee Shops, The Slow Vanishing, Weary Blues, Scar Girl, and The Year of Dead Fathers. The Year of Dead Fathers was chosen as the winner of the 2011 Robert Watson Poetry Award. Eulogy for an Imperfect Man is forthcoming from Brick Road Poetry Press. Maureen lives in Raleigh, NC with her three sons. She teaches workshops on publishing and creative writing at different venues.
Scott Owens, author of 10 poetry books, editor of Wild Goose Poetry Review and vice-president of the NC Poetry Society. He has received awards from the Pushcart Prize, Academy of American Poets, Poetry Society of SC, the next Generation/IndiLit Book Award. and NC Writers Network. Originally from Greenwood, SC, he currently lives and teaches in Hickory, NC.
