Our deli, wine and coffee shop offers coffee brewed on site, fresh morning pastries and breakfast selections in addition to the freshly prepared chopped salads, soups, sandwiches, gelato and wines by the glass served throughout the day.
Stop in for the morning paper, an afternoon pick-me-up or a glass of wine after work. We offer over 100 bottles of wine from small producers hand picked by our wine team.

The Goat’s Wine Shop
Fearrington’s Wine Director Maximilian Kast has expanded The Goat’s selections of wine by the bottle and offers a wine by the glass menu. New wines are always rotating in and out, so stop by often to see what’s new. You’ll also find some great local and specialty beers in stock.
All wines are hand selected for their quality, character, and reasonable price. We offer wines from smaller quality producers and from importers that are focused on traditional wines from winemakers that use sustainable, organic or biodynamic viticulture. Wine Director Kast says,”We are pouring our wine and beer hearts out for you; we hope you enjoy!”
The Fearrington Blend Coffee
Soon after The Fearrington House opened in 1980, we created The Fearrington House Blend to share with our guests. A mix of El Salvadoran, Guatemalan and Sumatran coffees, it is a mild coffee with a chocolaty and earthy aroma and a smooth, well-balanced flavor. Available in regular, decaf and espresso. Ask about our coffee club at the register and receive a pound of free coffee for every 10 pounds you buy.
Our gelato is made fresh in The Fearrington House kitchen. We only use
all-natural ingredients and strive to celebrate seasonality by incorporating the abundance of produce available to us from local farmers. We use local cream from Maple View Farm in all of our gelatos, except for our sorbets which are lactose free! You’ll find eight to ten different flavors at The Goat that rotate weekly. Enjoy a cup or take a pint (of select flavors) home!
