Our website is a key way we communicate with friends, fans and customers, so we’re always looking for ways to make it more useful and informative. Over the weekend we launched an update of the site; please take a look!
There are a number of improvements, starting with more exciting colors, a new masthead look, embedded YouTube videos, a more efficient and readable two column format, and more information now visible “above the fold.”
Most exciting perhaps is new photography display software that allows viewers to better experience the high quality images that really helps define the site. Gone are the thumbnails that took up so much room on the page, and instead you’ll see automatically rotating photo galleries. We’re adding more captions to make them more insightful as well. The Fearrington House Restaurant’s cuisine gallery page offers a good example of this new look.
