Laura Holmes started designing and making her own clothes and shoes when she was in the fourth grade. Having been raised in cities across the globe, various cultures influenced her creativity over the years, and when the first of her three children was born, she founded “Goody Goody” and went into the business of making handmade infant shoes. These adorable little fairy slippers are fashioned from a vast array of colorful silks and are so precious and unique. Over the last 16 years, Laura began expanding her offerings to include other “objects of delight” as she calls them, and Bluebirds & Hollyhocks has just received a shipment of her jewelry and cosmetic cases beautifully embellished with colorful silk ribbon flowers in Laura’s signature style. Oh, goody!
