The 4th of July is the quintessential Summer celebration - a gathering of friends and family, festive outdoor decorations, fantastic food, and a celebration of freedom and the birth of our nation. With a little help from Dovecote, I am planning a holiday celebration that my friends and family will not soon forget!
I am starting with a red and white striped Dash and Albert Rug - soft enough to lie on but sturdier than a blanket. A splash of blue and white and red throw pillows from Ryan Studios will create a relaxed and casual atmosphere, perfect for gazing up at the fireworks! I am serving strawberry shortcake in Dovecote’s individual scalloped footed glass bowls, an easy way to make the simplest dessert seem elegant. Surrounded by lanterns in all shapes and sizes, a few sparklers, flags and champagne, and I am all set for my festive celebration!
