It's time for Fearrington Village's annual Holiday Market!  From 12-4pm this Saturday and Sunday you'll find unique gifts from local artists and some of our favorite vendors scattered throughout the shops and restaurants at Fearrington.  Savor roasted chestnuts and mulled wine at The Belted Goat while browsing and enjoying festive holiday music by Mandolin Orange and Tommy Edwards & Friends at The Old Granary. There will be holiday cookie decorating for the kids and Chatham Outreach Alliance (CORA) will be collecting canned food donations at McIntyre's Books. 

Dovecote will feature four fantastic designers:  Dori Csengeri's award winning work features impeccably hand-sewn embroidered jewelry.  Spanish costume jewelry and accessories by Uno de 50 (One of 50) comes from the idea of founder Concha Díaz del Río to produce just 50 numbered units of each piece of jewelry, making the product special and exclusive.  Loren Hope Designs features a line of lovely women's contemporary handcrafted jewelry. Loren incorporates sterling silver, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls into limited edition designs. And Tim Philbin will be on hand with fabulously affordable women's accessories.

Thanksgiving is upon us! It's a time to gather with family and friends, a time to reflect on all that we are thankful for, and (one of my yearly quandaries) a time to ask, "what do I do with all these house guests over the weekend?"  Fearrington Village to the rescue! The Village Shops will be open Thanksgiving Day from 10am to 3pm, and all three restaurants will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for regular business hours.  Come out for lunch at the Old Granary or the Belted Goat, then get some holiday shopping done in McIntyre's Books, Dovecote Home & Garden, and Roost. It's the perfect family outing!
