Out-of-Season Tree Decorations

ALERT: Last night, a gang of witty Fearrington knitters tagged a tree in front of McIntyre's with scarves. On the scarves are snarky fake book titles like Smart Beer by Bud Wiser and Robots by Anne Droid. One title, Falling Trees by Tim Burr, made me jump back! I was, after all, standing under a tree. Wine for your Valentine!

It’s always nice to give a Valentine’s Day gift you can both enjoy!  Sant’ Evasio’s Brachetto D’Acqui is a pleasantly sweet sparkling red wine, made similarly to Moscato d’Asti.  In the glass, soft red flowers, muddled cherries, and raspberry liqueur are prominent on the nose and palate, with a few gentle bubbles dancing around in the background.  This will be perfect with all of those dark chocolate treats you are going to be feeding each other! ...
