Tim and Lisa Kluttz are self-taught folk artists who began their artwork in 2000 after seeing the Outsider Art Collection together at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Now, they share their farm and studio with their cat, dog and other assorted creatures. William Brock is a self-taught artist born and raised in Sequatichie County, Tennessee. For over twenty years he supervised high-rise and commercial construction across the Southeast, but in the late 90s, he moved back to Tennessee and settled into his vision of semi-retirement. Now, nearly twenty years later, Brock has become a self-taught artist and blacksmith, creating life-sized birds about of welded rebar and recycled tin and copper roofing.

Theresa Gloster first began painting in 1999, when she met Sam McMillan. When Gloster met McMillan, she knew she wanted to paint but was unsure of what she should paint. McMillan advised her to, "paint what you know."

Riley Foster has been welding and fabricating aluminum and stainless steel for more than 37 years. His business, Foster's Custom Steel opened in 1987, crafting everything from equipment repair to small repair jobs, to artwork. Foster's metal sculptures are made from mostly recycled metal from small to large in size; some are made to move with the wind. He also creates archways, benches and water fountains. Chris "Chub" Hubbard left a 20 year career as a microbiologist and environmental consultant in 1998 to be "born again" as an artist. With no formal art training, Hubbard created the now-iconic, slightly irreverent, Heaven and Hell Car. The car is decorated with his first attempts at primitive carvings made from found wood, sheet metal and other objects. Master storyteller Donald Davis filled the Fearrington Barn on Saturday and Sunday, delighting audiences with his annual holiday yarns. McIntyre's is always honored to be the finale of Mr. Davis's annual nation-wide tour!
In its 25th year with McIntyre’s Books, Davis’ performances raised critical relief for CORA, Chatham County’s Food Bank: over $1,000 was raised and over 1,500 pounds of canned goods were donated over the weekend.

This year our gardeners and chefs created more than 50 silly, spooky and spirited designs on pumpkins, squash and more for Pumpkinfest!
Whether munching on pizza slices from Roost, haunted hot dogs, or spooky sweets from The Goat - there was something delightfully delicious for everyone. Our talented team took creepy crawly and creative designs to turnips, squash and uniquely colored pumpkins (like the white pumpkin pictured here), each personality shone throughout the Village.
