Laura Morgan, General Manager, Real Estate Sales and Construction
Laura will work with you to translate the lifestyle and floorplan you desire into the Fearrington neighborhood and homesite that best suits your needs. Laura will work as a liaison between you and the design and construction teams throughout the building process. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English and Education and joined the company in 1986.
Brian Cather, Architectural Designer
Brian is originally from West Virginia but headed south to attend architecture school at Clemson University. After graduation, he served as an intern for 3 years at a small commercial architecture firm in Raleigh. For the next 8 years, Brian worked as a project manager and eventually head of the design department at a Raleigh-based residential architecture firm. Brian joined us in 2009.
Paige Greene, New Home Specialist
Paige will help you select from a variety of proven, attractive customization options in the comfort of our Design Center and will also be your point of contact on all aspects of construction to ensure your home meets your specifications. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Paige began working with Fitch Creations in 1990 and has been helping customers move into their custom Fearrington homes since 2004.
John Farrell, Job Superintendent
John joined Fitch Creations, Inc. in 1980, starting as framing crew chief; he became our construction foreman in 2005. John takes over once your plans and selections are completed, and is your on-site point person, always reachable and amenable. A native of Pittsboro, John ensures that the house is built according to plan, on schedule and, most importantly, up to the specifications and standards that you expect.
Jerry Wright, Framing Crew Chief
Jerry joined Fitch Creations, Inc. in 1978. A native of Mebane, NC, Jerry has been our framing crew chief as long as we can remember. Quiet but steady, Jerry is responsible for installing exterior and interior walls, roof and exterior siding – all on time and done right!
Mike Wynn, Plumbing Crew Chief
Mike is figuratively speaking the new kid on the block, having joined in 1992! Mike and his team install all plumbing lines and fixtures in our new homes. Mike was born and raised in Mebane, NC.
Tom Tate, Trim Crew Chief
Tom joined us in 1976 – and today his crew includes his son Timmy and co-worker Butch. A lifelong native of Frogsboro (Caswell County), NC, he installs all the interior trimwork, including crown, chair rail, baseboards, door and window trim, mantles and other custom design work. His other passions are his grandchildren and water skiing!
Bobby Wade, Finishing Crew Chief
Bobby and his crew are responsible for getting your home in move-in condition after construction is complete; this includes troubleshooting, installing appliances and hardware, and a thorough cleaning. A native of Roxboro, NC, Bobby joined Fitch Creations, Inc. in 1984.
Brenda Badders, Service Warrantee Coordinator
A native of Sanford, Brenda joined Fitch Creations in 2000. As a former lead teller at a local bank, Brenda uses her customer service experience to help new homeowners after they close on their new Fearrington home. Whether a manufacturer’s warranty issue, scheduling a service call or a simple recommendation, Brenda is here to help.
Junior Jeffries, Jeffries Electric
Junior has wired almost every house at Fearrington, having started working with his father over 30 years ago (Junior’s now retired father goes back with us even farther). Today, Junior offers our customers a full range of electrical services, including rough in, trim out, installing fixtures, landscape lighting, ethernet and hooking up your prized flat screen TV. And he is super nice and professional too.
David Rickman, Chatham Carpets
For over 25 years, David has installed wood flooring, carpeting and tilework in our new homes.Customers love his easy manner, knowledge and skilled installation crews. His company, Chatham Carpets, is a family business too; David works with his mother Ruby and sister Katharine. We keep a wide range of samples in our Design Center, but for a bigger selection, visit their large showroom in Silk Hope or he’ll gladly track down that special tile!
Jeff Snipes, Snipes Cabinet Company
Jeff started Snipes Cabinet Company in 1991 in Siler City. Snipes is a full service custom cabinet maker and has been supplying cabinetry to Fearrington since 2004. We like him because his craftsmanship is exceptional, customers love him and he can create anything! An avid fisherman, he can be found at the coast when not here.
R.B. Fitch, Developer and General Contractor
Working in his family’s lumber and hardware company as a boy, R.B. developed a lifelong passion for construction. Since 1965, he has built over 1,500 homes – mainly at Fearrington but also previously in several subdivisions. R.B. is particularly proud of developing and maintaining one of the most experienced and customer-centric custom home teams you’ll find anywhere. Learn more about R.B. here.
