Fearrington Decorates

Sunny weather and blue skies still feel like the holidays as Fearrington begins to decorate for the season. Over the next few days, the Fearrington garden staff and florists will set up, light and decorate more than a dozen trees throughout the Village Center.

One of the first (and largest!) to go up is the Center Island tree, which will be covered with our handmade decorations to feed the birds. Specially decorated trees will be placed throughout the Village shops and restaurants, along with wreaths and greenery, while the gardens outside will turn magical with trees lit for holiday nights.

Wine for the Holiday Hostess

We grew up together. His mom has worked for my dad for almost 20 years, and one summer Michael and I were both working for him as well. He was in the IT department, so when my phone broke one afternoon, he was the one who came to fix it. We started talking a lot more and I would purposely break... Full Post >

Transformation Tuesday

For today's installment of Transformation Tuesday, we've got a demonstration in layering for the gal on the go. While you're popping in and out of shops, grabbing coffee and running errands, it's important to have options, especially with the strange weather we're having this fall. We've built a solid backdrop with a gorgeous top from Wilt Clothing. Wilt does amazing things with tops; each one is deceptively simple, appearing as tee or sweatshirt but surprising us with a beautiful hem and... Full Post >
