Transformation Tuesday

Today we’ve fully embraced the season. Though most of the leaves have come and gone, we are still so very fond of orange.

We’ve taken a plain tee shirt and jeans and spiced it up with a chocolate and orange color palette. We’ve kept the clean straight leg with our pant, shown here in the Keesha style from Equestrian Designs and replaced the tee with a luxurious silk and cashmere blend v-neck sweater from Magaschoni. We just adore this lively orange; it brightens up the whole face in such a beautiful way.

To balance the zesty orange, what better than a rich chocolate brown? We’ve picked up some of the pant color in our Tilo scarf sand set it all off with an oversize Ceri Hoover clutch in taupe suede. What an exciting transformation, change just like the leaves!

Wine for the Holiday Hostess

The Setup You got invited to a get together, you want to bring wine, but you have no clue what anybody's preferences are. The Solution Think blends. Wines made from a blend of varieties will inherently tempt a wider spectrum of tastes and offer what will typically be a more complex, balanced wine. For white wine, we have this unthinkably delicious blend from the Napa Valley in ODISEA's Veritable Quandary that returns a glass full of tropical citrus, star fruit, kiwi, a river... Full Post >

Megan & Michael

Megan and Michael tied the knot on June 21, 2014. These newlyweds said their "I dos" at the Garden Terrace, and danced the night away in the Fearrington Barn. How did you and your partner meet? We grew up together. His mom has worked for my dad for almost 20 years, and one summer Michael and I were both working for him as well. He was in the IT department, so when my phone broke one afternoon, he was the one who came to fix it. We started talking a lot more and I would purposely break... Full Post >
