Follow the Winding Brick Road

Fearrington’s whimsy doesn’t end with it’s belted barnyard. With quaint farm structures re purposed through the Village Center and a winding brick road connecting all of these treasure troves makes it easy to fall in love with Fearrington over and over again!

“Most weekends we get to direct our bridal parties and guests to ‘follow to brick road’ to a fantastic party celebrating their loved ones,” says Wedding Coordinator & Designer Gilda McDaniel. “Fearrington has charm and whimsy — just like the land of Oz, but without the flying monkeys!”

Syrah This Saturday

This weeks theme for the wine tasting is Syrah, one of my personal favorite red grape varieties. With the weather warming up and the sun starting to show a bit more, the grill that's been laying dormant in everyone's storage should be making more of an appearance! With that in mind, we have three Syrah selections that would be perfect for any afternoon spent by the grill! To celebrate this wide range, we have three beautiful Syrahs for you to taste this Saturday! We hope you can join us... Full Post >

This Saturday’s Wine Tasting!

Anne Stomp from Duckwood Farms in Chatham County, worked with the restaurant team as a consultant to guide in the first growing season. After producing leeks, beets, carrots, kale and radishes for the winter menu, the chefs are already looking ahead to spring! The chefs have planted cauliflower,... Full Post >

Workout Gear

Sports Socks are high compression socks that Chef Colin Bedford swears by when training. These compression socks are meant to increase circulation. What makes them special? They work great AND look great! Unlike most compression socks, these come in fashionable colors and designs. "The socks really seem to reduce the stress training puts on my muscles," says Chef Bedford. "I haven't had any shin splints since I started wearing them regularly." CEP Sports Socks can be found at Dovecote... Full Post >
