Libby and Will tied the knot on June 20, 2015. These newlyweds said their ‘I dos’ under the Willow Oaks and danced the night away in The Fearrington Barn.
How did you and your partner meet?
Will and I actually met in English class at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Tell us about the engagement?
I drove to Nashville for the weekend to help Will move into his new apartment, or so I thought! We decided to take a break from moving furniture and unpacking boxes and went on a hike at Radnor Lake. About half way through the hike, we took a break on a bench and he proposed!
What made Fearrington the place for you to say “I do?’
Will and I had been to Fearrington several times for various events, and we just fell in love with the venue! During the day, Fearrington is a great place to escape and read at McIntyre’s books or just grab a coffee and walk around. At night, it exudes an irresistible rustic-romantic feel.
Describe the highlight moment of your wedding day?
I loved taking a moment to look around to see how many family members and friends were there to love and support us for the most important day of our lives. We will probably never have that many people that we love all in one place again!
Is there anything you want to add about your wedding story?
Will and I are very thankful to have such loving and supporting families who made the entire wedding weekend possible. We feel very, very blessed! We are also extremely thankful to Fearrington for helping make our wedding day so amazing.
This wedding was designed and coordinated by Fearrington’s own Gilda McDaniel.

The latest edition of the Fearrington-Fullsteam collaboration brew has arrived! Our Fearrington Fall Apple Extra Special Bitter is on tap throughout the Village Center. This is an autumn and Southern inspired take on the traditional style of English Ale, with pressed heirloom apples from Foggy Ridge Cider in Dugspur, Virginia. With 6% ABV, strong apple tones are carried throughout with caramel and toffee notes from the malt. You'll notice just a touch of roasted malt in the finish. This... Full Post >

At Haven, In Our Spa
Our Mango Coconut spa treatments have been so popular this summer that we have decided to extend this until the end of September. Feel rejuvenated and soft, like a tropical breeze, with a tantalizing Mango Coconut Body Exfoliation.
Begin with an exfoliating dry brush made of Cactus. Follow this to detoxify with a mango coconut scrub that removes dry skin. Exfoliations help to remove dead skin cells that block pores, stimulates the lymphatic system, reduces edema and neutralizes acids in the... Full Post >
At Dovecote, Style Defined
This look was styled by Sharon.
Slouchy on slouchy can look pulled-together, as long as the materials are perfectly airy like our cream silk shell from Magaschoni layered under this dreamy kimono.
There’s something innately sexy about these incredible black trousers from Strenesse; the drapey-ness of the look is so effortless and chic. Sharon put the ensemble together with our platform wedges from Daniella Lehavi which adds a daring edge that we just love!
The options for jewelry... Full Post >
Fall is the best season for fashion - all the colors! All the layers! All the boots!
For Fall 2015, it's all about richness of color - mulberry, royal blue, deep moss, cinnamon, ember and peat. We love to layer basic pieces like a Judy P. shell with a cashmere sweater and a simple pant in a great fall color.
It's all in the details; we love our Kinross pleat-back sweater with zippers on the shoulders. Everything has a special something whether it's fringe, pockets or an intricate knit... Full Post >
