Meet The Artists: Riley Foster

Riley Foster has been welding and fabricating aluminum and stainless steel for more than 37 years. His business, Foster’s Custom Steel opened in 1987, crafting everything from equipment repair to small repair jobs, to artwork. Foster’s metal sculptures are made from mostly recycled metal from small to large in size; some are made to move with the wind. He also creates archways, benches and water fountains. His artwork is on display in the House of Blues in Florida, California and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Visit the 15th Annual Fearrington Folk Art Show to see some of Foster’s beautiful sculptures in The Fearrington Barn. Tickets to the Collector’s Preview, Friday, February 24th, are available to purchase online, tickets for the show are $5 at the door.
