The summer months can be particularly harsh on skin with increased exposure to the sun’s rays. If your skin could use some recovery from the sun, check out the products below from Haven Spa Boutique.
De La Terre’s Skincare Line is one of our go-to collections for inflamed skin. Specifically, the products below should soothe skin damaged by the sun.
De La Terre Comforts Inflamed Serum ($40) protects skin cells, prevents dehydration, supports capillaries and skin’s immune response. The serum contains essential fatty acids which help sooth and moisturize damaged skin.
De La Terre Comforts Inflamed Mist ($32) helps boost skin’s immune system and assists in the reduction of inflammation by reducing swelling and tenderness. This mist regenerates skin tissue, reduces UVB induced inflammation and much more.
De La Terre Comforts Inflamed Clay ($42) has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory property, defusing redness dramatically, while accelerating recovery of the skin. Rich in pro-biotics, this clay helps reduce pain, sensitivity, and vulnerability associated with inflammation.
De La Terre’s Sun Diffuser ($52) has a unique formula designed to help the skin diffuse the heat energy of the sun to regulate distribution of melanin while strengthening the skin’s structure. The protective enzymes defend cells from UV damage, while prompting anti-oxidant production to strengthen and support skin structure.
Stop by Haven Spa Boutique to shop these items. Contact The Spa at Fearrington with any questions, or to book your treatments at 919.545.5723.

At Fearrington House Restaurant
With a Sutler's gin base, this cocktail holds a little bit of North Carolina history. Set up camp on the front porch of The Fearrington House Restaurant and enjoy the summer weather.
A Cocktail in Southern History
Sutler’s Gin is based out of Winston Salem and named after Sutlers: the men following troops during the Revolutionary and Civil wars. They would set up camp with the troops to provide provisions during down time (tobacco and alcohol). The name is derived from this... Full Post >
