At The Fearrington House Inn
October 12, 2016 9:30 AM | By Our Somms | No Comments
Fearrington is pleased to offer Inn guests a bottle of champagne in their rooms when they check-in. Our wine team is proud to carry Taittinger, one of the top Champagne producers in France, and offer their Brut La Française NV as the new Inn room champagne. This bottle is a blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir that displays richness of fruit and texture on the palate.
The Brut La Française has notes of poached yellow apple, ripe Meyer lemon zest, and a smoky minerality that are very bright and rich tasting, despite having such a fine and elegant mousse.
We have both the full 750ml and half 375ml bottles of the Brut La Française NV available at a special rate of $68 and $38 for all inn guests. Ask our Guest Services Associates for more information about this offering.

In fashion, most figures are more appealing to the observing eye if visually divided into thirds. When dressing in a 1:1 ratio (halves), the result can look boxy and unflattering. Using a 1:2 or 2:1 ratio... Full Post >

I never thought that I would end up in the hospitality industry – my parents, traditional and well-meaning, always had high hopes that their daughter would become a lawyer or a doctor. But I soon found I had more interest in cooking fancy dinners for the family than burying my nose in books and studying numbers.
In 2008, I enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in New York after acquiring my a degree in Marketing and Public Relations in the Philippines. It was at the CIA where I... Full Post >
