There are so many ways to display place cards at weddings. A recent favorite of mine was wrapping foam boards in a pretty floral print fabric and pinning hand sketched and writen place acrds to the boards.

A few weeks ago, when the low here in North Carolina was 6° and the high was 21°, Paige, Brian, Greg and I were all fortunate enough to be visiting sunny California. Now in California, the low was 60° and the daily high 75° -- not too shabby! Luckily, now we are in the 70s or else you would have stopped reading this immediately. So why were we across the country?
